Breast cancer is one of the worst killers in the United States. It is estimated that somewhere around 13 to 15 percent of women will develop breast cancer at some point in their life, and somewhere around 50,000 women will die. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women.

The study analyzed data from 72,000 women in China. These women were followed for eight years, so a significant amount of time invested in the study.
The results support the conclusion that reducing omega-6 fatty acids omega-3 ratio, in other words: eat less and more than Mar. 6, has been beneficial to help prevent breast cancer. In fact, women with a higher ratio was twice as likely to develop breast cancer than those with a low ratio.

Of course, as all these things may work for some and not others, and, of course, scientific studies will, it is extremely difficult to say when these things are sufficient evidence of this trend. But there is a wide range of other health reasons also great for attracting more and more supply of omega-3 essential fatty acids. It may be the prevention of breast cancer, but none will certainly improve your health in other sectors.
